Jane Smith was born in a small town in the state of New York, the daughter of a social worker and a schoolteacher. Jane’s mother was very fond of music. Jane inherited her passion and eagerly learned to play the piano. At the age of ten, she performed in home concerts, which were very popular among the Smith family's friends. Later, she graduated from the Musical Academy and performed for several years with the Academy Orchestra. She became widely known through her solo performances and her best-selling Music Album, which won the Music Award. Now Jane lives in Greenwich Village with her husband, John, and their children, Dave and Betty.
